So this one has been in the works for a while, but was held up due to the availability of the barrel blank. It's a Zermatt Arms Origin short action, with a Proof Research barrel chambered in 6x45, with a 1-10 twist. It's sitting in a Manners CS2 stock with a Geissele Super 700 trigger and Hawkins bottom metal.

As with all my builds, Alex @Vernonia MW did the macine work. He chambered the barrel, threaded the tenon, threaded the muzzle, timed the Surefire brake, fitted the barrel, and set the headspace. And I couldn't be happier with this build. Alex knocked it out of the park with this one.

She's going out for her maiden voyage tomorrow afternoon. I've got some Nosler 70gr Varmageddon's loaded up with various charges of Accurate 2230. I'm hoping to see north of 3k fps with some of these. I'll report back with some groups.

And yup, this will hopefully be taking over duties as my main coyote rig. The signature line underneath the caliber marking just makes me laugh every time I see it! 🤣

Last three groups of the day. Most of the others were similar. 100 yard groups, standing with a tripod, three shots each.

Last group with 26.9 grains of Accurate 2230 produced an average velocity of 3005 fps, with 70gr Nosler Varmageddons. Zero indication of any signs of pressure. All of these groups are less than .75 moa. This thing is gonna wreck some coyotes!
