from vancouver, can I buy rifle at portland gun show?

I know I can't buy a handgun with out a ffl transfer but what about a rifle? I know there is a gun show this weekend in vancouver but I assume the portland one will be bigger.

Yes, just no hand guns. I live in in Vancouver and Oregon stores or dealers is were I purchease mine.

The way you phrased your question I think you misunderstood.

You can legally buy a long gun out of state but ONLY from an FFL

You can NOT legally buy a handgun out of state at all.

You can buy any gun out of state as long as it is sent to your state and transferred though an FFL.

Also you might look up member Coctailer. He is an FFL and I hear he is a wonder at legally working things out for the boarder folks in your area.
