I bought some of the 50gr .224 brown tip frangibles from American Reloading and they look fantastic, but I haven't tried loading any yet. They have a copper jacket on them unlike most of the other frangible bullets and at less than 7 cents each shipped, it's a great price.

My range does not allow 223/5.56 ammunition on the silhouette range, unless the ammo is loaded with frangible projectiles. The frangible projectiles will prevent serious damage to the metal targets.
