Finally moving to alaska

IIRC (it was 30 years ago) I went XC skiing up in there somewhere, it was a nice area.

We are nearing 30 and do not want children and we know a large move like this is a big risk but i do not want to be in my 50's with regrets. I wish all of you the best of luck.

I'm in my 50's with regrets. When I was a kid me and a buddy I started out hunting with, it was all we talked about, moving to Alaska and becoming mountain men haha. Never did it, wife was just not into the idea and never really had extra $$ to maybe go up and buy a cabin or anything.

Almost talked wife into it 20 yrs ago when there was a job [executive management] up there in anchorage she could have taken. Oh well.. Glad your getting to do it.
