One of my fellow Cav troopers put this together a while back. I'm in there loud and proud.

My good friend and one who really deserves the title of Hero.
Loren "Doc" Brown...In addition to being a WWII Veteran , he is the man who made favorite rifle , my .54 Hawken Rifle , that I shoot and write so much about.

Doc is a great guy... very wise , generous and kind.
Always ready with a smile and I am honored to call him a friend.

Badges , patches , ribbons etc ... may tell part of the story..but the man who earned them is the story.
What is a shame is that many of those who deserved an award , did not get one or live to see it.

To all who have served in the military , no matter what branch , MOS or just how many or few awards , I hope you had a good Veteran's Day.
