Looking for feedback on the SOG Arcitech model knife.
Do they hold a good edge, does the lock stay tight, is the blade shape usefull as an EDC knife, etc.?
If you have had any experence with this folder, positive or not, I'd like to hear about it.
My EDC is a SOG Trident with the Ti-Ni coated blade, and I love it. I settled on this knife after shopping around and comparing features and specs, and it was cheap enough that if I lose it I won't go broke replacing it. That being said, the specific one you're looking at is a little different.
-The edge has held up very well for me and it's just their basic stanless steel, the Arcitech has nicer steel that is said to have even better "edge stability".
-The SOG locking mechanism is great, I wouldn't worry about it. Very positive locking, almost no play when locked, releases smoothly.
