Yabbut: What about that 31 plus Trillion Dollar national debt?? And wracking up a trillion or more each year, year after year. It's unsustainable in terms of "real" money. The rate of increase in the past twenty years is very scary.

Any comfort from raising the budget deficit limit will be very temporary. Both in terms of need for renewal, and in relation to the insoluble national debt issue.
