7th Circuit judge: Don't limit gun choices to government

A federal appeals court judge yesterday delivered a scathing dissent in a 2-1 ruling by a 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in which he bluntly explained that allowing government to determine which firearms people may own transfers too much power to government, according to Newsmax.com.

But Dave,...
Perpetuating an (the) illusion is what leftists/statists are all about.

The illusion of "helping" people via welfare and project housing.
The illusion of "helping" people through the dispensing of drug needles.
The illusion of "helping" women with abortions.
The illusion of "helping" educate children via federal standards.
The illusion of safety through limiting firearms.

And when they figure out how to convince people they're being "helped" by a boot on their neck, they'll do that too.

According to USA Today http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/news/nation/mass-killings/index.html#weapons
less than 10% of mass shootings in the last 10 years involved semi-automatic rifles (ARs, AKs, or any other semi-automatic rifle such as a 10-22, a Mini 14, etc.). Handguns, predominantly semi-autos, but also revolvers were used almost 75% of the time.

BTW, I don't do Newsmax anymore. Ruddy, once an excellent investigative reporter, who wrote "The strange death of Vincent Foster", a well researched book about the handling of Vincent Foster's death and the investigations thereafter, only recently made a huge donation to the Clinton Foundation and considers himself and the Clintons friends now. I can understand why the Clintons would want him as a "friend", but not the other way around. This is especially bothersome, now that Hillary is running and there will be more convolution between the Foundation and her holding political office. Just saying ...
