Anyone in the Portland/Vancouver metro area have a Falcon Menace 4-14 FFP scope I can peer through? I just purchased a Rem. 700 milspec 5R .308 and from what others are saying it may be a good entry level scope for me. As much as I like Leupys and Valdadas I just can't do a $1500 scope right now!

    Thanks in advance...

I don't have any experience with them but have heard good reviews on the "sniper" websites. My long range gun wears a Bushnell Elite right now FWIW. It's clear, crisp and tracks well with the most wonderful clicks via those big knobs. Have you checked out the WOTAC scopes? I have read good things about them too. http://www.sightwonders.com/wotac.html

The Leupold VX2 3-9, or 4-12, should be your best bet. Don't mess with any Chinese scopes. Just my $.02

My brothers got one, it's a nice, substantial scope. I prefer it to my Bushnell.

Check out the Horus Raptor, it's about $900, best reticle design I've seen.
