I have numerous problems with this type of policy (especially if it applies to take out meals). In my mind it is a policy that rewards everybody equally regardless of the effort they put forward. If you do the bare minimum to keep your job you will be rewarded the same as the guy/gal busting their arses next to you. We are slowly seeing these pay equity policies enacted by government and the private sector. It is going to slowly steer us in one direction that is not a good place to go.
