Epiphone's higher end G-400 model SG, bright red with beautiful fret board inlays (retails $379 at Guitar Center).
I upgraded 2 important things. Tuners are Grover Deluxe, so unlike the stock Epi SG, it stays in tune. Pickups are from an Epi Les Paul. Twice the volume of the stock chrome covered SG units. Really nice straight neck. Plays like a dream. Includes a good quality padded gig bag in great shape.
