For sale or trade, Egyptian Hakim in 8mm Mauser. These are a true battle rifle and are very under rated. This gas operated semi-auto rifle was originally designed by Sweden and produced as the AG42 Ljungman for the Swedish Army. The tooling and design was sold to Egypt in the early 50's. They were manufactured up to the mid to late 60's until the Maadi AK47 was adopted.
The Hakim rifles are chambered in 8mm Mauser and have a 10 round box magazine. There is a non removable muzzle brake to help reduce the recoil.
The bore on this rifle is dark and that is no big surprise and there is no pitting, but the rifling is in very good shape. The stock has the usual bumps and bruises. Have a look at the pictures and let me know if you have any interest. Im asking $475.00 or trade for ????? Let me know what you have.
