I wear logger jeans for work. I don't carry, but do keep a folding knife clipped in the upper side thigh pocket. Seven belt loops and suspender buttons. These jeans have plenty of room, and hold up well. They offer double thick knees. The front pockets are pretty large, and have a watch pocket in the right pocket area. I have been buying Prison Blues lately. I think Key also offers them. I think Carhartt quit making them several years ago.

Sadly, Bi-Mart and just about every other clothing retailer appears to limit inseam lengths to 32 inches. The few "Big and Tall" stores I've visited do the same except for the few that have enormous waistlines. Being 5' 16", Coastal and Cascade are the only local places I've found with 38x36. Or Amazon, but you can't try those on before buying. Amazon's Wrangler jeans don't seem to be anywhere nearly as good as the ones I've bought for years... Costco used to have a good variety but they stop at 32" now, even on the Web. Sigh.
I gotta say, 95% of the things sold on Amazon can be returned. my wife orders 5 of everything, tries them on and returns what doesn't fit..... Always good to know if they fit!

Costco was stocking "Lucky" jeans recently for around $25, which was a great price for a good looking jean. They have a good amount of stretch built in. I found that I can wear my preferred size with a holster without problems.

Are EDC branded/marketed jeans worth it? Whether it be Vertex/ 5.11/ etc…..

I'm not talking tactical pants with a million pockets that scream gun. I'm talking strictly denim. I normally wear Ariat jeans which are fine but the last pair I have need replacement. I'm always open to trying a new brand. Ariat jeann may last 6 months - year for me before I blow out the inseams. I'm looking for a denim with some stretch that does not look tactical/bro vet. No skinny jeans and they have to fit over the shaft of a standard cowboy boot.

Any opinions are welcome. Thanks.
Walmart Rustlers. Screw the big brand names. These wear and last as well as any. <$15.00. Save your $$$ for ammo.

I feel your pain. I've had good luck at Wilco recently with 36" inseams. I just ordered some Prison Blues to try out, made in the US too

Ended up going with Ariat M4 Rebar boot cut jeans. Super comfortable with a decent amount of stretch. Makes carrying a G34 pretty easy and comfortable.

People wear Jeans that aren't Levis? Unwashed 501s. Get 2" bigger waist and 4" longer inseam. Wash inside put and super hot dryer. I get them at Freddy's on ssle or Amazon.

You'll get 3 - 5 years out of them. Gunbelt and IWB holster work fine.

Where am I suppose to EDC in these jeans?

CQR pants are working really well for me so far and I'm quite a few months in.

The have work with cargo's with lots of pockets I use for electrical work.

A tactical pant my wife prefers me in with a nice shirt - they don't look tactical to me but have pockets for extra mags if that what you want to use them for but I don't.

And a more professional slacks looking version I have no use for.

They have mesh in the pockets and are water resistant but if they get wet they are really quick drying and light. Plenty of loops and even having almost a full set of tools in them and a gun on my belt as well as a knife, I haven't even had as much as a stitch pop.

For about $42 they have been a great value for my needs so far and the 2 versions I have will fit over my boots.

Colors vary but all are very reasonable imo.
