I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive side by side shotgun to file a form 1 on and chop into a Mad Max style shorty. I don't care if the barrels are bulged near the end as long as the first 10"-12" are in good shape. The buttstock can be less than perfect also, since I am going to cut it down to a pistol grip anyway. As long as there are no cracks in the grip/tang area and the lockup is good, then I'm interested. Would prefer a 12 gauge, but will look at 20 gauge also.

Please no real old guns that can't handle modern loads.

Price is negotiable depending on what you have, but not looking to spend too much.
