What to do when you are expecting...2nd Amendment edition.

Whenever a proposed anti gun bill comes along....Buy whatever is on that list....
As well as vote no / vote against those who vote yes for it / sign to repeal said bill , if it passes.

Practice with your firearms...shoot safely.
Clean up after yourself when done shooting.
Maintain your firearms.

Re acronymns. In sciences, especially chemistry and biochemistry with lots of very long nouns, acronyms are essential. For example, DNA, drift giving cork c acid. Drat. That's an example of what autocorrect does with anything technical. Lets try that again. Deoxyribonucleic acid.

With gun stuff in nwfa I mostly just use nwfa, SD, HD, SA, and DA, for this forum, self defense, Home Defense, single action, and double action respectively. However, like many here I do use truncated names for certain guns. For example, in a thread for people experienced with .357 mag revolvers, I will refer to a 686. But if its a thread that people new to revolvers are likely reading I will call it a "SW 686 .357 mag. revolver." Because someone unfamiliar with revolvers would not necessarily know from just "686' that it was a SW, or a .357 mag, or even a revolver.
