Designated Long Range Shooting Areas?

Is there any long range shooting areas around an hour away from Salem? Just bought a scope and wanted to zero/try it out around 200-800 yards, was looking at the 500 meter range in Lincoln City but now isn't a good time to buy a membership. Thanks for reading!

I think Albany Rifle and Pistol has ranges out to 1000 yds, not sure on what it takes to shoot there, you might need a friend and be a guest.

Douglas Ridge Rifle Club in Eagle Creek is right at an hour from Salem and has a 100/200 yard range open pretty much always. The exception is on Thursdays which is long-range day where they shoot anywhere between 200 and 1,000 yards. The 100/200 yard range is closed for safety when the longer distances are being fired.

It does take a membership but the club is not too expensive and there are openings presently.

Unfortunately ARAPC only goes out to 200 yds as for DRRC, I'm not sure about buying a membership yet, was looking for random BLM spots or something. I do appreciate y'alls time and information though.

Did you find a spot? I've got a spot but it's private property so we'd have to meet up and go. 30-40 minutes west of Salem.
