Hah, though seriously nothing wrong with handing over that gun in order to possibly solve a major crime or murder.

Sheriff says it's a rare occurrence... Jeez we used to do cold water dive training in the Columbia River at Richland, WA... going anywhere near the bridges meant finding LOTS of firearms. Yes, treasures!
