I have a CZ455 Varmint 17hmr and was getting some really sporadic groups out of the box. Decided to take a look at the action screws and one felt a bit loose and the bolt seemed to bet a bit catchy.

After breaking it all down and re-torquing the action screws to 3nm per the manual I couldnt get my bolt back in! It was catching by the handle. Turns out the rear action screw was protruding slightly into the action (which was causing my out-of-the-box rough bolt) so I'm guessing it was never tight enough to begin with from the factory. Ended up having to file the action screw down a bit, has anyone else ran into this issue?

Congratulations, thanks to the douchebags at State Dept. DDTC (ITAR) you have just become a "Manufacturer."

Ask Velzey or our other pro-smiths about that latest round of horsepuckey from the human-garbage at Foggy Bottom... :(
