Is the propane tank like what you'd use for a trailer? It seems to have the older spigot is it possible to have it changed out? Lastly, how many gallons will it hold?

I'll check out the newer safety valve, I think it's about $30. If you would just let me know if it's it's a "trailer" model, just a lot bigger and how many gallons it holds.

Yes this is a large 5 times bigger then the tank that you get with a bbq. 75.00
