In my area theives are doing that to ATMs. Hooking up a chain to it and a truck and dragging it out of the wall and down the road. One recently swapped it up and used a front end loader.

I wonder how those guys thpught they coukd get away with that tank? I suspect beer was involved BEFOREHAND.

Since I am not part of the stolen metals market i'll just ask. I know that 304 stainless is expensive to buy but does it have a lot of value as cut up scrap? Seems it'd be worth more as an above ground swimming pool (slightly used) than as scrap.
