Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I was thinking a shotgun chamber reducer/adapter might be able to pull double duty and be used as a case length gauge for 9mm and maybe other calibers. Does this seem like it could work?
Hmmm, I would do it. However...
I'm kinda fond of tailoring ammo to the specific gun it is used in.
My IDPA load for the Well Worn G17 allows two failures to plunk in the barrel per hundred.
Those exact same rounds fail to plunk an additional four to six in the CZ75 barrel.
2% to 8% failure.
I use Lee dies and can adjust them to "swage" any bullet to any bore/chamber.
