So my brother has a gun was curious on its value. He said he's done some research and he thinks it was manufactured in the 70s but wasn't certain. Does anybody on here know what the value of this?

Never lower the hammer from the half cocked position on a SAA. Thats how you get that cylinder line.

Always fully cock the hammer from the half cocked position allowing the cylinder to rotate to the next locked position.
Then lower the hammer.
Excellent advice here...
This also applies to Colt cap and ball revolvers...as well as their replicas / clones.
