So my brother has a gun was curious on its value. He said he's done some research and he thinks it was manufactured in the 70s but wasn't certain. Does anybody on here know what the value of this?

Has it been fired? I don't see a "turn line" on the cylinder.

Nice example of a SAA Colt.

Never lower the hammer from the half cocked position on a SAA. Thats how you get that cylinder line.

Always fully cock the hammer from the half cocked position allowing the cylinder to rotate to the next locked position.
Then lower the hammer.

Excellent advice here...
This also applies to Colt cap and ball revolvers...as well as their replicas / clones.

No no no.... you meant $150.00!!! I'll pay him double for it! ;):D

I like the way you think. ;)

The closest one I have to this example, I purchased in December 2018.
I paid $1450 plus a $10 background check fee.

No Stomper!
It's not yours for $14.50 :D
