Cleaning Question.

Im sure that this is going to get a few different opinions, but I want to know that the way that I learned is correct.
So, Im cleaning my Bushy AR. Lets assume its upper and lower are apart. I have a carbon fiber rod that I insert from the muzzle to the breach, attach my cleaning cloth with CLP and then pull trough along the trajectory of the bullets path. And then repeat.
Is this correct? Or should I be pushing the cloth from breach to muzzle.

If using a cleaning rod, I would suggest going in thru the breech side of things.
