Pretty sure WA state is not in charge of the EPA. Did I miss something where my Governor here made the EPA and runs the other 49 states? Wow, I have a new respect for the moron Jay. I guess he was not as dumb as I have thought him to be the last several years. Any other agencies that may state foisted on the rest of the country? I am impressed.
Well as long as you blame yourself for the way you vote, 👍.

Based on WA State Dept of Ecology, it's encouraged and notes a caution re: using it for consumption; see here:
Nice to know WA decided we could use it without a permit at least for now. :s0140:
I had heard of someplace telling people they could not collect it. Never paid much attention. May well have been in CA as they have long been a little ahead of us in making up really stupid laws. Give us a chance and we are always trying to catch up though

Hell I sent money to the Potato which will go to knee pads now. I have it on good authority she is going to be FAR better for gun rights. As for Jay he decided not to run again since he could not win. I am still impressed he was able to make agencies in this state that control the other 49 though. He should have run for a 4th term. The guy has more pull than most here seem to have given him.

I have asphalt shingles.

Most looking for SHTF. 2 people. Drinking, cooking, bathing and toilet. At emergency levels.
Gravity fed. I have some power but would want to preserve. Also plenty of propane and single burner stove.

As I write I am thinking a some more 20gal more bottled and some 55 gal barrels may be enough as anything longer I would need to leave town if I still could. I live in the city surrounded by way too many people.
Difficult if not possible to cover all the bases for SHTF and one size does not fit all. I'd take a serious look at a solar powered RO system even if you had to cobble a DIY. SHTF means what water available is most likely crappy. A prefilter to strain out all the big particles, this doesn't need electrical power. The RO needs pressure in order to function, thus solar. A capacity of a few gallons per day for drinking & cooking would not require much storage space. The solar system would also provide power for other needs.

Foreverlost,
