COME ON. The source for this complete line of BOVINE EXCREMENT is very suspect at best.

Is there anything about this quote (below) that makes you say to yourself "wait a minute ... my critical thinking skills are causing my BSometer to peg"?????

"SEAL Team 4 Commanding Officer Job W. Price commit suicide. He was best known for finding and then killing Osama bin Laden."

If you can't figure it out then I am not surprised you believe this complete crapola. Good grief, it's bad enough Kyle is killed but to pollute a thread that should be about a true warrior with this kind of nonsense is the epitome of moronic.

I took the link directly from Chris Kyles facebook page....
And you probably still think Vince Foster killed himself.

Well since you won't address the facts I will for you. Pity you can't do your own homework.

Which SEAL unit did the bin Laden raid? If you said SEAL Team 6 you would finally be correct about something. What Team was the Cmdr. Price from? Secondly, as I could find no reference to Cmdr. Price having been with Seal Team 6. That's not to say he couldn't have been but other Seals who were with ST6 in the past and have died have been identified as such.

Additionally, if people were to believe the conspiracy theory that these ST6 team guys are being killed as part of some grand cover up/conspiracy then the Taliban would've had to have been in on the "plan" because it was a lucky rocket shot that downed a helo with 22 ST6 guys on board.

Honestly, you have better odds of winning the lottery and being struck by lightening in the same day as the odds that anything other than plain old heinous bad luck has played with Cmdr. Price, the ST6 helo crash, the death of a ST6 guy on a hostage rescue mission, and the death of Chris Kyle.

As to Chris Kyle: Fair winds and following seas and long may your big jib draw.

Regardless of sig being accurate or not, you are not completely correct either. I was supposed to be on that Chinook. Fate is funny. I ended up part of the recovery team instead. That "lucky rocket" you speak of, was an airburst RPG-7. The FOB the bird took off from is at 7000 feet, and that makes the climb up out of weapon range, take a little longer, as the air is a bit thin.

Those goat farmers were let on the FOB by the ANA and ANP, all the time. We caught them with GPS and cell phones, marking coordinates, frequently. They also gather lots of intel this way as well, calling their buddys outside the wire to pass info, so if they are caught, at least the info got out. Fobbits get very bored and talk to people, all the haji shop owners are their best friends.

Red flags abound when that chopper was shot down. It is not common for those to even be targeted. Conspiracy theory or not, we are losing an alarming amount of operators, and 2A advocates very suddenly as of late. It tends to make folks think and talk.

I will certainly defer to your feet on the ground experience there. My point as it relates to the helo/RPG incident is that it wasn't some grand scheme to kill off some of our best operators.

Why Chris Kyle's death is part of a conspiracy instead of just the act of person who had demons he was dealing with and did an evil thing is beyond me. Connecting every shooting or unrelated events into a theory makes the gun community look like a bunch of kooks and plays into the anti-gun argument. Propogating completely insane cnspiracy theories and blamming the government or this or that takes the onus off the evil folks like Chris Kyle's killer. Let's keep the focus on the killer and look like sane folks instead of letting our imaginations run amok and look like kooks.

I will defer to your actual experiences there. Red flags or not it sounds (based on your comments) more like an opsec issue with the ANA/ANP and fobbits.

Conspiracy theories take the focus off the evil folks who do things and serve no purpose. Keep the focus on Chris Kyle's killer rather than suggesting some grand conspiracy to kill of some of our most valuable and effective warriors.

I am curious .... since you have real world experience why isn't your BSometer not pegging on sig's conspriracy innuendo? Do you feel there is substance to it? Why would we want to kill off our very best?

Because, I am an old soldier. Old soldiers don't become old if they don't keep an open ear. Conspiracy theory is a funny thing, in my experience. The really crazy ones always seem to be rooted in some wisp of truth. A healthy amount of paranoia is a good thing.

I research things, and try not to get things wrong, but I'm human, so I do. I've admittedly posted a couple of questionable things which have been out of date, or pulled out of context. Trust me on this though; In my experience, the government is not usually our friend. And if indeed there is some plot to kill off our best, it is because our very best could pose the biggest threat to the "stability" of the state. We don't tend to be quiet about things.

I don't like it.
But some of the guys coming back shouldn't have guns any more.Hey you just can't do the same stuff here as they needed to do over there.

But the really cute thing is how some of y'all can't help but argue like little girls, even in a RIP thread.

Now who was the 59yo guy,Jeffrey Vegas Sewalt, that was killed at his home? Yahoo didn't come up with much.

It's very sad to lose such a great American. He is someone that I would want my kids to look up to. The only comfort to come from this is that in Texas when you kill an American hero, you get the chair. I hope they fry this guy for depriving America of another great man.

News is saying the guy was never frontline and was likely in the rear with the gear as perhaps some type of armorer. I'l be curious if he tries to use PTSD as a defense.

Those guys are ALWAYS the ones with PTSD...How else can they get that good free money?

My wife's business partner is one of those guys. He was a tanker who spent his entire tour in Germany in the mid to late 80's. He's always blamming his behaviors and drinking on PTSD. She says he has the paperwork to apply for PTSD disability but when he is doing well financially he doesn't feel the need to follow through but when things are lean he feels like his PTSD gets worse. I'll give him a disability: two flattened testicles for being such a d-bag.

Insensitive. Shameful. Embarassing. I can't believe some of the stuff that falls out of politicians mouths sometimes.

And you honestly think a high trained Navy Seal fell victim to a random robbery? Really? I'll bet Chris Kyle didn't even take a dump without assessing the situation first.
