So is it tribe by tribe if you can carry concealed on tribal lands? Does reciprocity come into play? I.E. you have a Utah permit, and you travel through tribal lands in WA?

Hmmm...

Years ago, I had a buddy open-carrying in a mall in Arizona that was on tribal land. They confronted him and escorted him out to his vehicle. He argued that open carry was legal in AZ and they informed him that he was on the rez and they didn't care what AZ law was.

i believe its federal law>tribal law>state law, In general. I think with the casios they needed state permission to build inside city limits, even if its on tribe owned land.

What they don't see, they don't know about. I'm not necessarily saying break the law, but you did mention concealed. It's not like you're gonna pack around an AR for the world to see

The mall is private property... They don't have to allow carry on their property. Same is true in Idaho. You can be asked to leave, don't want to leave, argue it out with the sheriff, and loose.

Tribal Nations really tick me off. . .
They claim to be independent nations. . . .
But are always first in line for Federal and State aid.

They are an independent nation when it benefits them, and are part of the USA/State when it benefits them.

I've carried inside casinos in the past. Then found out it's a no no. So I stopped going to casinos... lol.....problem solved. If I have to go, I'm not disarming myself. But I never go so I'm not worried.

Like I'm gonna get stuck in some BS situation and look like an a$$hole without a gun on me.... riiiight Lol

What can you do?
The US government really got a good deal on north america "basically free" and comited genocide in the process and all they had to do it go with up a little bit of land.

I mean the alterantive is there is no genocide and the USA is only limited to the East coast

I'd argue that things/circumstances/attitudes, etc.... were different back then.

THAT being said.....
IF, some people are on a crusade to right ALL of the wrong(s) of history........

Good luck.

Right......What can you do?

Start by paying reparations to the "colored people of America"? #BLM

Not sure what your point is @ma96782 I'm not trying to write any wrongs and I was staying the truth for @wjv.

I'm in agreement with you.

"What can you do?"

Though your use of the word "genocide." Well.....maybe you did or didn't mean to fan the flames of divisiveness with your usage of that word/characterization. Really? Was it or wasn't it..... the INTENT of the US Govt. to commit genocide?

Truth?

Yes. History.....is written by the victors. And there will always be a certain amount of "justification" to explain (or try to explain) certain acts/circumstances that might not "look pretty" by modern standards (or to some people).

So then......applying today's language with its sometimes tones of #@&^*. For example words such as: genocide, slavery, mass murder, etc... Well, I feel that in some way......some people are attempting to pass judgment (and NOT always in a fair or positive way) upon others.

Rrrrright.....I've been called a NAZI, homophobe, racist, etc.... just because I'm an NRA member.

And note that even today, there are many people who believe that the USA should NOT have dropped the bombs on Japan to end WW2. Or firebombed the German Cities near the end of the war in Europe. Feel free to pick out the most reprehensible words that anyone could think of to describe those actions.

Anyway......
I can remember once, in the 70s, when a Collage Professor (of color) said that......

"One can NEVER justify slavery."

Really? :s0092: I figure that.....even King Soloman owned slaves in his palace. Not to mention that the practice was acceptable for a long time....even before that.

Which brings up the final point of "reparations".

Really? Money will make everything RIGHT AGAIN? I don't think so.....

I still have no idea what you are trying to prove? The movement of indigenous people in north america was genocide plane an simple... it's pretty common knowledge here in 2020 but I'm sure it wasn't in text books in the 70's.

Didn't the Native Americans also enslave each other and try to commit genocide against each other before we arrived? I seem to recall that they were pretty brutal people all by themselves.

Not sure what all this has to do with carrying firearms in their casinos, but, whatever.
