I just added the same grip to my Dan Wesson RZ45 and shot today with that grip for the first time. Just loved it. It really make the 1911's look great. I really like the look of your gun with the grip.

I was thinking of going with the Raasco grips. But when I saw the American Legend grips, I had to have them. Next on my list is these walnut grips Im trading the originals for, then to the Raasco. Also I was looking for some dark red grips. The pachmayrs are a high polished rosewood.
Like I said with the extended slide stop, I had to sand it for about 5 mins to get it to fit just right,

watch for the little Patchmayr buttons. They come off at the worst possible time and will get lost. Been there.

At the 1st sign it is coming lose, just pull it off and re-glue.

They are acrewed on with a hex screw. No glue needed.

I mean one of a kind maker. M over an A for Metro Arms. Only the firestorm and Metro Arms 1911's have the hammer like that.
