Charter Arms in .45 ACP

I see the modern incarnation of Charter Arms offers a snubbie in .45 ACP that does not require moon clips to function. I know the quality control of Charter back in the day was all over the map, but I don't know how are they are these days. Anywho, I find the concept kind of neat-o and am curious if anyone has shot one of these. Thanks much.
