I have 6.5 Jap rifle that has had the chamber reamed 6.5 jap x 257 Robert's. I would like to have this reamed to a common caliber. Does anyone know of a service that performs this?
Thanks
Skidder

Tim at Copeland custom gun works can probably take care of that. He is a supporting vendor here.

Most 6.5 cartridges are shorter, or too large for the action.

For a reloader, 6.5x57 is easy to make from 257 Roberts brass. Using 7x57 brass is also a possibility but neck clearance should be checked.

There is a European commercial 6.5x57 cartridge which may be possible rechambering but you will seldom find any cartridges or a gunsmith with a reamer.
