Anyone been this year?

I cant remember if they were searching upon entry or not last time.

I know here are probably signs saying you cant, but thats just a matter of being asked to leave if it somehow becomes known youre carrying.

Lane county fair in Oregon had metal detectors and uniformed police at every single entrance for the first time ever this year.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your Q. But the mentally I'll kids who do mass shootings look for these types of events imo. Especially if it's a gun free zone. All just imo feel free to ignore.

Another thought is a lot of shootings at parks, parades, etc in the news have been gangbangers. So that's a possibility too I suppose. Don't know what the gang situation is like there. Certain parks here you just don't go to. Worse at night of course.

I believe in Oregon they cant prohibit lawful carry on public property yet the Washington county fair for 2 years now has metal detectors at the entrance. The facility is owned by the county.

Can also attach sling to the dongle on these for on body carry fwiw. In this weather though a covering garment may be an issue.
