This is my first post so thank you for having me.

Is anyone aware of plans to sue Oregon over their Non Resident CCW Restrictions?

Given the recent court decisions forcing California to issue Non Resident Permits this sounds like a winnable case.

I live in Maryland which makes me not eligible for the Oregon CCW.

I travel for work and I am trying to get permits to maximize legal carry in as many places as possible. I currently have, or am in the process for the following permits to carry:

Maryland , Washington D.C., Pennsylvania, Utah, Connecticut Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Jersey, Arizona, NYC (Pending), and California (Pending).

Oregon & Illinois have restrictions on who can apply based on where they live.

I'd be willing to donate to one if it developed. As a TX resident I can't even apply for a permit in OR since it's not a neighboring state. I think it's ridiculous that there isn't national reciprocity but some states' requirements are more comprehensive than others. The irony in my situation is that my Texas LTC permit has far more training and proficiency requirements than Oregon's permit.
