CCI Mini-Mag at PXD Sportsman's Show

Went to the show at the Expo center yesterday...Crowded!

At the admission gate, they were handing out numbered cards, entitling you to buy up to (2) 300-round boxes of Mini-Mag .22lr. First 3,000 people received a card...now we know where all the CCI is!
Turned out to be a good deal...$20 per box, so $40 for 600 rounds of good .22.
Almost made up for the $6 parking and $12 admission...

Not sure if they're doing it again today, but I think they will be.

Let's see... 3000 people per day, 5 days, 600 rounds per person, sounds like about 9,000,000 (million) rounds of .22. Presuming they do this at each of the shows they promote, that's a bubblegumming lot of .22.
Cascade Farm and Outdoor, which is owned by Bi-Mart and is supposed to be opening a store in
Portland soon, managed this deal with CCI. Too bad they didn't let a little of it trickle down to their parent company.

Don't know if they did it on all days, but know for a fact they did it, in the numbers mentioned, on Saturday.
Even at that, its 1.8 million, for that day alone.

We got ours on Friday. We were too late to be in the first 3000, but they let us in anyway. It was supposed to be all five days so maybe 9,000,000 is too small a number.
