Hot Damn!!! I need to learn how to crab fish, Deadliest Catch has given me the basics but I don't have a big enough boat. :D
Yeah, check a little closer. I don't know WHERE that is. But in the West Coast states undersized female crabs are going to get you in some real expensive hot water.

I paddled just shy of twelve miles yesterday fishing from 0715 to about 1300 and not a single bite.

I feel your pain. Sometimes you catch and other times you cut bait.

I've been chomping at the bit to get back out on the river but I can't risk busting open the cut on my trigger finger… :(

Definitely. I tried bait in high water for coho, switched to bottom water for Chinook. Changed to spinners and plugs. No dice. I saw lots of fish on the fish finder. It mostly just serves to tell you how many fish aren't biting at your hook.

It doesn't matter if you throw the kitchen sink at em, if they aren't hungry or pissed enough, they ain't biting. In those instances I advise to resort to the Ole Dupont spinner, it don't discriminate against non biters…:p

Those are not my crab Mike.
You misundertake! I knew they weren't yours. I knew you knew. I wasn't sure for sure that Xaevian knew for sure.

Oh, I know, brother. Been crabbing as long as I been standing. I can tell.a female Dungeness without flipping it over 9 out of ten times.

It is always the only one big enough to keep In a pot full of tiny ones, lol.

That is a pretty big insult to real fishermen, like telling a hunter they must wear a lot of Sitka gear, lol. No worries.

You can tell the difference because we would take any one of you guys out with us, show you what to use, and cheer you on. More like weFish.
