As I continue into the world of casting I find I'm in need of clarification.
As to BH & chamber pressure:
Rick Kelter states BHN X 1,440 = MINIMUM chamber pressure http://www.lasc.us/heattreat.htm
According to the chart supplied with LEE's Lead Testing Kit BHN X 1,278 = MAX pressure.
According to this similar LEE chart MAX PSI (as above) becomes "working pressure".
Schaefer (frfrogspad) lists a formula of: BHN * 1,422 * 0.9 = Ideal cartridge pressure.
Hence my confusion! Any cast boolit hand loaders care to chime in?
Thanks!
Jason
