Check out the annual cartridge collector's show in Castle Rock, WA if you haven't already done so. I even drove down there one year from north of Seattle. It was great, lots of common and weird stuff to see. And I got some great deals on contemporary ammo that I don't ever expect to get again. This year, March 18-19.

Wish I could help with the .458 SoCom, but all I shoot now is cast. :s0092:
Thanks for the heads up. I just found the one case a few weeks ago, I'll bet the guy just couldn't find that last case. :s0140:
About like me when I'm searching for that last 300 BO case. :s0117:

Thanks, I'll definitely make that trip. :s0152:
I wonder if anyone there sells singles?

Oh I think you'll find just about anything there. Lots of cartridge collectors only want one of each, very common.

A couple of the vendors the time I went there had all sorts of different experimental 5.56mm rounds, fascinating.

I might consider going again this year. I think it was cancelled during the height of the Covid thing. I can tie that in with a trip to Smash Burger; the one in Ridgefield is the only one in Wash. state. There are some other stops I can make along the I-5 corridor as well.

I've got these for the 8mm Mauser

I can add at least .300 Win Mag to the rifle and will look to see what others have like maybe 375 H&H and 7mm Weatherby Mag.

That sounds like the makings of a good road trip. I will put that on my calendar post haste. 👍

Awesome, thanks!
We will have to meet up for a coffee or a beer and I will give you one or a few of the cartridges.
Andy
I enjoy nothing better Andy but I am just too far away to meet up. A 3 hour one way trip nowadays really puts a damper on my aching arse.

Yippee ki A!!!

I'll make you up a dummy. In fact I probably have one somewhere around here

Sure thing Big Time!!! I do good with obsolete, Hell land lines are nearly obsolete, I can't even give away my old splicing tools, Yep, they obsolete too…:eek::eek:
By the way, save a spot for the 401 SL as well. I load for that too my step dad has one and I have a dummy right here. I can actually make 401's as well out of 762 by 39 brass.

That's awesome brother! Thanks!!!
like I was telling another member today, this was going to be a simple take my time relax and get her done project. Now it is turning into an international edition and now I'm going to have to call in an order for a forest full of lumber to build it. :s0140:
