Let it die? Eh. No. Anyone who has been around for more than 10 years knows the story with Carl. He was not a good guy. But he sure did make some incredible motivational videos. Here's a screengrab from one of my favorites; Carlos boot-clearing a -74U while staring down the muzzle to make sure it cleared correctly :



The obvious question, not reported, is what the hell caused him to start firing?

What he's doing is classic Carlos. He just tossed the AKS-74U into that puddle and fired a few rounds in the mud. The mud then locked the steel case in the chamber, causing a FTE; so he uses his boot to kick the charging handle for forcible extraction of the stuck case.

But the cool part isn't that he's kicking the action open. The cool part is he's doing it with the muzzle centerline bisecting his head (or at least real dang close).
