Can you shoot tannerite in Oregon?

I'm wondering if anyone can give me info on where you can shoot tannerite. I've had people tell me you can just go out on public land and shoot it, but I thought I read online that you can not shoot it on public lands. If not, I guess you have to know someone with private land to shoot it?

I don't know of any clubs, ranges or public land where you are allowed to shoot tannerite. I've only heard of it being allowed on private land.

I've shot it a number of times in Tillamook State Forest on some lanes off 26/NW Timber Rd. Wasn't mine, but people let me shoot a few that had the license to use it and mix it. Never had any issues, even had authority drive around and just give a wave.

I guess they also used it for business, which they do need one. But yea you don't need one to use, or purchase. I've never bought it myself.

Not telling where I shoot it, but it is public land. And I've got it to go off using a .22LR. Makes me think when I mix it up.
