Can any one tell me anything about this holster

I acquired this holster and a Security Six from my dad who was gifted it from my dearly departed uncle.

The holster has a C stamped on the back with some un discernable smaller numbers stamped above it.

Looks like something the Highway Patrol might of used in times gone by, I'm wondering how one might wear it, would you use a sling or a belt, or both?

What a cool old police swivel holster! I'm jealous.

Found it, It's a Folsom Audley model ST Holster.

Means it could be considerably older then the Gat it came with.

Estimated value $35.


Probably less then $35 because mine is damaged or modified for a longer barrel.



These were widely used from the late 30's to the late 60's.
