Tragic that the cats were that unafraid of the humans there in Cali.
A "65 pounder" seems like a pup or starving adult lion. From NPS, "Mountain Lions usually weigh between 75-175 pounds. The largest Mountain Lion ever to be documented weighed 276 pounds, but a Lion of this size is extremely rare."
Anyway, glad the boys mama bear was home and able to save him.
