Isn't there a rather large body of SCOTUS cases that basically says States and Feds can't deny civil rights based on race, creed, or religion? Wouldn't ideologies fit in creeds?

I welcome the court cases that will come from this - I am hoping/thinking that such rules/regs/laws get struck down hard.
