FYI - your financial institution that you have linked to Zelle, may have significant limitations on a transaction amount.
Here is a table of some banks/etc. and their reported limits: https://www.mybanktracker.com/checking/faq/zelle-pay-limits-274406
However, I learned yesterday that my Credit Union has more severe limits on Zelle transactions:
Per Transaction- $250
Per Day- $500
It is not tied to my ATM withdrawals. I thought the reason I could not send what I wanted, was because I had withdrawn $350 earlier in the day from an ATM - they have a ~$500 limit on ATM withdrawals per business day, which is why I usually have more cash on hand than that.
