Most of the bullpup kits I've seen (and even owned) have been absolute crap. There may be some good recommendations out there (maybe check the AK47.net forum, subfolder SKS) but I've not seen one personally that ends up being worth the money.

SKS' look best they way they were built,with wood,looking like a rifle
Bastardize an AK if you want a bull pup

Oh does that show I'm not a big fan anyway?
I just like the lines of the SKS and don't see any good reason to change a great design.
