Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I had a 3-9x40 Sweet 30-06 and have used a Sweet 17. Take the following as one man's "range report".
The knobs are way too big. For target use it would be ok, but for any kind of hunting that I do they would be a hindrance. Also, the scope was large for it's magnification range. The range of eye relief was very shallow. I never used one in low light, but the image was very clear in daylight. The adjustments were predictable. For $50 I think it's a good deal. If you haven't much to spend and can live with the shortcomings I mentioned, you will probably be pretty happy
