Never thought I'd find a deal to share at Cabelas, but this was in their Bargain Cave section. Maybe an older model, no specific model line branding and the basic AR on their site has fancy/expensive stock and probably other bells and whistles for way more.

I've stumbled on a few hot deals in cabelas before.
They make up for any firearms sales losses with the overpriced snacks at checkout lanes.

This morning i missed out on a 22lr deal that was available shortly before it got posted to the gundeals reddit group and got the kiss of death. Good quality 22lr for 4cents delivered. Missed the last two boxes by just a few minutes. Oh well you win some you lose some ;-)

The only thing special is CMMG makes great stuff out of quality parts. I do think black rifles should be black tho.

No. I was just shocked at an ok price on a firearm there. CMMG is where I get .22 AR parts and the cheapest rifle they currently sell is about $1300 with their overpriced stock.

Handful of other CMMG rifles on clearance too when I searched. The only one that isn't a fairly standard one is the MK47 "Mutant" for 1450. Seems way cheaper than anywhere else.

That is the old model, but still a good deal. The new model is more of a AR180 style recoil system without the need for a buffer tube.
