Well....we have power here in La Conner.
However....both roads out of the Reservation where I live...are blocked and closed....
Looks like I am stuck at home for a bit...damn...

The winds were generally from the East from this storm in the greater Seattle area. That wind direction is unusual and may have been a factor for why so many trees came down.

I had left my phone in the truck, but I do have this one from a couple days ago driving through Depot bay (stopped at the time of the picture). This wave is about to soak some tourists.

Our part of Pierce got nothing. Watching TV I saw lights flicker a few times. So fast it did not even knock anything out. Now they are telling me Friday
Of course the problem with this days of panic is many then just start to ignore everything and then something does hit. Tend to always shrug it off as have a couple gensets, run on LP or gas. Keep plenty of both. The problem comes from the huge number of people who have nothing. When something does happen they start running around hair of fire trying to buy anything and everything they can find. It can be fun to watch.

Yeah, we didn't get much besides rain.
A small community down the highway has trees down, but nothing crazy.

I had a tree branch come down that would have put a hole through the roof of my truck had I not moved it.

Other than that, a bunch of leaves transported around a bit and everything is more wet, which I didn't think was possible.

We have gotten so much rain here last weeks it always seems amazing to me we don't have a small lake here
Guess it will be good for our well next summer. The one nice part about it here is the breaks. Even when it seems like non stop rain there always seems to be some short breaks. The one dog wants so go out twice a day and could care less about weather. So I can almost always find a short window to take her and not be walking in a damn monsoon. Many a time the sun is out and by the time we make one lap around the place it is raining when I get back.

Welp, the morning after, only one tree went down, and it was a mostly rotten fir snag that the Acorn Woodpeckers have been using as a pantry. When it landed, all the bark popped off nd exposed thousands of acorns held in the bark
