I have one of those in 45-70 / 10" I've put nearly a thousand rounds through albeit in 300 grain. The 400 grain was a bit much so loaded them at nearly subsonic until I had a magna port installed and now the fully backed 400 grain lead kicks about the same as my S&W 45colt. If I wasn't downsizing for retirement I'd buy it! it's a solid gun at a fair price. (Burris fast fire red dot is an excellent companion)

I mostly target shoot now. I wanted to start pistol hunting but I think I'll stick to rifle, I'm all set for that. Would love a HK VP9 to try, a S&W 617, ??

454 BFR to a 22 SW? kind of a catagorical leap. I cant believe that it has not sold yet. I have FNX 45 if you are interested.
