Best Suggestion for a 1st Time AR-15 Buyer

Knight's SR15E3. Expensive? Yep. Pretty much a complete, no upgrades necessary rifle? Yep. Might as well get the very best before they become impossible to obtain. Going back down the ladder? Colt, LMT, Noveske, BCM, Daniel Defense. It would be hard to go wrong with almost anything from one of these manufacturers.

I've owned 15 - 20 AR15's over the years. Anything from Bushmaster's to LMTs. I've had quite few high end rifles by my favorite has been my Smith and Wesson.

The only thing that turns me off is that it says it shoots 5.56 nato. I want it to shoot .223. What do you think?
