Berryhill AFP = Dirt Tough! - M1911.ORG E-zine

Just got back from Vickers 1911 Operators course in north central WA.

Within a couple hours on the range I felt his eyes fixated on my holster, which happened to have the AFP in it. He came over after awhile and asked what I had, I told him and he wanted to check it over at the next break.

He was right on me when he declared a break, and looked it over real well. I went over the article with him.

He really liked the choice of parts that Dave used, both inside and out. He stated this is how a 1911 should be put together. On the second day when we were detail stripping the guns, and going thru them with what he felt were mandatory improvements and things to look out for, he went over the AFP and didn't find anything that needed to be improved upon.

Dave is on Larry's 1911 radar now.
