I have a .50 Beowulf I love to shoot. I usually shoot it open sights out to 50 yards and have tried a red dot (Aimpoint PRO) on it for close shooting also. Due to a dominant eye injury last year, my vision splits any kind of lighted red or green dot. I would like to put an actual variable scope on it but due to the recoil of the Beowulf I am not sure most of the scopes designed for AR's are going to hold up. The Beowulf is only designed to shoot out to 200 yards so I do not need anything real long range. So can anybody give me some specific ideas on an optic that should work on this gun?

It seems at my age I should be smarter but optics are something I have little to no experience with. Thanks for any help in advance!
